Who we are
Corrective Intercontinental Cosmetics is a medium-sized group of respected cosmetics companies in the Netherlands. Research and development are essential to us. With a lot of experience, passion and inspiration, we work on continuously improving and developing our range, so that we can always offer you the most innovative and complete concepts. And we’ve been doing that for about 70 years. In our own factories we produce professional cosmetics in the field of skin care, skin improvement and make-up under the brands Webecos, Dr. Tadlea and UNG. These brands are distributed throughout Europe within the professional market of beauty professionals. Our products are not tested on animals; we have never done that in the past, nor do we plan to do so in the future. We are also the exclusive importer in the Benelux of the brands Thalion, Binella and Coverderm.
What is our philosophy?
Corrective Cosmetics wants to enable beauty professionals such as beauticians, skin therapists and make-up artists to distinguish themselves in the market in a professional manner. We do this with brands that have their own identity and a distinctive story and that offer beauty professionals the best available solutions in the field of skin care, skin improvement and make-up.
Research and development have played an important role at Corrective Cosmetics since its inception. The laboratory in Amstelveen is constantly working on further developing the range of high-quality cosmetics based on the latest insights. Of course, no experiments on animals have been and are not being done. Corrective Cosmetics therefore guarantees honest, pure products. And that for about 70 years.
How it all started
- 1950: Dr. Bernard de Laat establishes the Dr. Tadlea Dermato-Therapeutic Laboratory.
- 1962: Len Klaphaak launches the first European cosmeceutical brand Webecos
- 1975: Introduction of the Minilift facelifting treatment
